Select the order you would like your blog to use…
You can have it sorted by id (blog post id)By authorBy TitleDate ModifiedRandom orderNumber of Comments.
Select how you would like it sorted by,
Ascending or descending.Ascending is oldest to newestDescending is newest to oldest
Select how many blog posts you would like to show per page.This only works if you have pagination enabled.Pagination allows user to move to the next page and previous. You can enable this in a second.
If you want only certain blog posts to show you can filter by tags. Just enter the tag for the posts you want to display.
You can also filter by category this is extremely useful…
Say you have a gaming blog and you want to break up your blog into sections such as Wii U, PS4, Xbox 1 you can do that with this.Just select the category e.g Wii U and only blog posts in that category will show.
You could then insert another blog element below this one and filter that category by e.g Xbox 1 and so on.
Here you can adjust the margin. This is the space around your element.
You can have your blog display however you like here you can select how many blog posts you would like per row.so 3 would be 3 blog posts per row. 2 would be 2 blog posts per row etc…
Simply select how many blog posts you would like per row here…
Here you can turn on and off pagination with the yes/no toggle.Pagination is the arrows you see at the bottom of a blog page with next and previous so you can load e.g 10 blog posts per page and then a user can navigate to other posts using this.
You have a range of different options here to select how you would like your blog posts layed out.
You have masonry which will make your blog posts appear staggered. (My favourite)Fit Rows which will keep all of your blog posts the same width and height.List which will show your blog posts in a list with a small thumbnail.
You can also limit the excerpt length shown on your blog here by the amount of characters.
This section allows you to toggle certain part of your blog to be on or off.e.g. If you do not wish a image to be shown untick image. If you do not want the date to display untick date and so on…
You can animate any element you want, simply select a animation effect.
From the list…
Click “Save Page”
Then click “view page” to see your blog element in all its glory!
