Clicking the trash icon deletes a map location. Lets delete Paley Park location click the trash icon.
Click OK to Confirm
Now lets edit the Apple Store location click the edit icon
Enter the name for your location in this box.
This information shows when the map marker is clicked by a visitor.
We can add information about our location in the description box. You can also use the WYSIWYG editor to bold text, add hyperlinks and more.
We can also add a link that shows when the map marker is clicked e.g to your Google Plus page.
If you want to, you can also add a image that will show in the box when the map marker is clicked.
This is were we enter our location information. We need to get the longitude and latitude.There is 2 ways of us to do this.
The 1st) Click Find longitude & latitude for address
This website will open up, simply enter your address into the box
and then click Find Lat Long
We then simply copy our latitude and longitude and paste it in to the map element on our website.
Paste it in to this box…
then do the same with the longitude and paste it in to this box.
2nd Way – Shortcodes.We can quickly use the location that you have setup in Pro Styler Theme Options Panel with shortcodes.You can see the shortcodes by clicking the view supported short tags button in the map element.
Simply copy the shortcode 51.508943 and paste it inside the latitude box
Then do the same for the longitude using the shortcode -0.125055
Click the duplicate icon to make a copy of a location.
Click the “Deactivate icon” to disable a location from showing but still keep it in the element for use at a later date.
This option allows you to select a style for your map. We have 2 options no styling or thumbnail which will place a border around your map.
You can toggle a range of elements from showing on your map with the check boxes. e.g you can turn of the zoom controls to disable visitor zooming in and out of the map.
Select how you would like your map to be aligned.
Specify how wide and how high you would like your map to be on your page.
You can also change it to percentages so you can make it full width 100%
You can animate any element you want, simply select a animation effect.
From the list…
Here you can adjust the margin. This is the space around your element.
Select how zoomed in you would like your map to be on your page. This allows you to zoom out if you have multiple locations so they fit inside your visible map area.
Select the type of map you wish to display here.
You have 4 to pick from…
Click SAVE PAGE
Then view your page to see your map In all its glory!
That’s it. You’re done.
